…them sprites lonelied forth is a performance piece about our eternal search for insight. It is about the deep aloneness of every soul in this journey. It is also inspired by the stories about ‘the subtle beings’ shared by the bobohizans (the female shamans of Sabah, in Malaysian Borneo), in generous response to my inquisitiveness.
